today was fun. the youth had friendship day at punggol park. trust daniel to come up with wacky games and the craziest things to do. we had loads of fun and i smelt real bad.. cus the raw eggs all sticking on me. eeks! how can something taste and smell so awful when its raw taste so nice when its cooked? raw eggs are really like crazily smelly stinky sticky and disgusting! i almost puked cus i had to gulp down diluted rose syrup with raw egg sticking all over the bottle. the smell was truly unbearable. anyway had a good day playing in the sun today.

rejoice in the Lord always. i will say it again: rejoice!

i've got heaven on the inside of me
peace and joy, God has set me free
heaven is a reality
abundant life flows out of me
i've got a smile on my face

im tasting His grace and

i've got heaven flowing out of me
that's right. i've got the joy of the Lord to be my strength. God jus works in such wonderful ways, and He's always there at the right time. today's sermon was on the joy of the Lord being our strength. its true you know, its very true that it's so easy for us to get routinal in our activities. moving in and out of church activities and even our ministries, losing the real meaning and focus behind them --> God. and it's even easier to become tired in our ministry, and then the devil will come along and rob us of our joy. but no, i wouldn't relent. i will not allow the devil to take this piece of heaven away from me. rejoice in the Lord always. i will say this again: rejoice! sometimes it seems almost insane to rejoice amidst difficult situations. but this will be my outcry -- i will rejoice and praise the Lord in all situations, looking at these situations with the perspective that God has. yes, even the strongest people can get tired, but God's power and strength never diminishes. He is never too tired or busy to help or listen to us. this message confirms what i've decided to embark on, the planning of the 4th of July rally and the co-ordinating of the 40-days campaign. yes i will be very busy and probably extremely stressed too. but as busy and stressful as i am and might be, i will praise the Lord. for the joy of the Lord shall be my strength. hebrews 12:1-3. let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. let us fix our eyes on Jesus... so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

i shall proclaim this once again: the joy of the Lord shall be my strength!!

believe it or not. im actually missing my new bible at home. for like maybe the first time, im yearning to read my bible. mama bought me the new bible... its the life application study bible, niv version. and its this rich. *stretches arm wide across* there's like write ups in there, character profiles, concordance, dictionary, harmony of the gospels... and so much more. i was reading it last nite and i was so engrossed. great, an additional member into my bao-bei family. let's welcome... *drum roll*... the bible. :D ... it's my investment into ur life... that u will grow in ur luv for Him grounded in His Word which is life itself. so what better gifts in my opinion than to give His life on ur birthday. taste the bible and see that the Lord is so good...

its through redemption and forgiveness that i have this life i live now. it's through the great gift of mercy and grace by which i stand tall and proclaim the truth of the Word - the Word that bursts with life and life eternal. it is life because man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of the Lord. the Word sustains, grows and nurtures. the Word is my direction, my position and confirmation. one thing i ask of the Lord, this is what i seek: that i may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. for in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his tabernacle will i sacrifice with shouts of joy; i will sing and make music to the Lord -- all the days of my life.

happy birthday, may

its my birthday. 17 years ago, a little life was brought into this world, and that little life is me. i thank God that He allowed me to see the miracles and wonders that He had created, and to be part of His magnificent plan for eternity. i went for the dinner with sis, kaikai, gracie and jn jus now. was so funny... we were like laughing the restaurant down. from very very crowded to become rather empty. but it was a joyful experience. the food was yummy-licious! dunno how to pronounce the name of the restaurant though. its like this --> pivdofr. tell me how u pronounce? wan to dof cannot dof, want to ofr cannot ofr. so queer. but its a nice place. thankew sis for paying!! and thankew girls for the company, cake and mug. oh man, i love the mugg so much lorr!!! i shall take a pic and put it up here. wait till i hardworking enuff to do that. lol. well anyway, this yr's birthday is really quite sad. gotta stay home and clear homework. *frowns. well at least its a new way to spend my birthday. u noe how it is when everyday is jus routinal -- go sch, come home, clear homework, study, sleep? and when out of the blue you've got one day where you can dedicate it wholly to yourself, you feel exceptionally warm about it? its like... suddenly so wow like that. birthdays in recent years have been rather plain for me.. but this yr... its like. wow, its my birthday. being in jc has taught me to appreciate lotsa things. the little rest that i can haf, no matter how short it is, would be treasured. the little 2 to 3 minutes i get before bell rings to chat with the girls, its such a pleasure. and the journey back home after school... wow.
